The difference, Ms. Coulter, was John McCain
Ann Coulter really doesn’t get it?
In 2008, Romney was enthusiastically supported not only by Limbaugh and Levin, but also by Sean Hannity, Rick Santorum, Herman Cain, Laura Ingraham, Michael Savage and many others who now seem to view Romney as a closet liberal. This is especially baffling because there is no liberal candidate in the Republican primary this year.
When, specifically was this? In the Primary vs. John McCain. Hell I “enthusiastically” supported Romney over McCain; that is, after every other choice was off the table. With the choice today being Romney or Ron Paul, I’d take Romney, hands down for the disaster I think Paul would be to the defense of this country.
Gotta love how she trots that paragraph out in interviews, Tweets, and now in her column.
For the record, I’ll “enthusiastically” support Mitt Romney over Barack Hussein Obama in November, if it comes right down to it.
Then again, I’d vote for a box of rocks over Obama, I just hope that doesn’t turn out to be the choice I end up confronted with.
So, how DOES Ann Coulter feel about her upcoming speaking engagement at Homocon?
I noted earlier that Ann Coulter had the Big Gay Left in an uproar over Ann Coulter speaking at Homocon 2010 because obviously the gay conservatives aren’t really gay or are self-loathing, Ann Coulter is a, a…woman! And besides…Adam’s apple.
Turns out, not only is she not apparently a homophobe, she’s thrilled to be going;
I am thrilled to be giving a speech to a room full of gay conservatives, because according to every single liberal I’ve ever met, such people don’t even exist! Who’s next on my speaking tour? Conservative unicorns? (And don’t kid yourselves – they’re out there. I get letters from them all the time.) – Ann Coulter
