This video appeared on SNL in 2005 (I think), and my wife had the song stuck in her head a couple nights ago, so I downloaded and converted it for her.
Then my friend Jeff posted a video “…to those who celebrate Christmas, from those who celebrate Hanukkah.” which I thought was pretty cool!
So in response, a video from one who celebrates both Hanukkah (with the in-laws) and Christmas:
Paul Harvey on his radio spot way back in ’65 described exactly our world in 2012. Listen to the clip below, it’s a little over two minutes.
The only thing Harvey missed was the millions killed in abortions. Even he couldn’t imagine anything that evil.

A planned 7 week deployment escalated to a punishing 214 days away in the last year, after their vessel was diverted to Libya and further operations. When the crew finally heard their return date (Friday December 9th), meant they would be home for Christmas, they wanted to mark the occasion in their own inimitable style.They filmed themselves miming to Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want For Christmas,’ and now the multi-million selling popstar has given her seal of approval with her message on Twitter this week: “This is the best thing I’ve ever seen, you guys just made my day! Happy Happy Christmas!!!”
After watching the above, Mariah Carey tweeted;
“This is the best thing I’ve ever seen, you guys just made my day! Happy Happy Christmas!!! x0x0 to the troops.”

I know many of you probably saw this as a slide show or an email, but this one put to music brought a tear to me eyes. Mannheim Steamroller is behind the music, and thankfully it fades to silence before the toy piano part (that part always gets me).
Not that time yet, getting closer, but Merry Christmas to my brothers and sisters still overseas anyway.
