A video holiday reply to my Jewish pal Jeff (Yid With Lid) Dunetz
This video appeared on SNL in 2005 (I think), and my wife had the song stuck in her head a couple nights ago, so I downloaded and converted it for her.
Then my friend Jeff posted a video “…to those who celebrate Christmas, from those who celebrate Hanukkah.” which I thought was pretty cool!
So in response, a video from one who celebrates both Hanukkah (with the in-laws) and Christmas:
A Soldier’s Silent Night
I know many of you probably saw this as a slide show or an email, but this one put to music brought a tear to me eyes. Mannheim Steamroller is behind the music, and thankfully it fades to silence before the toy piano part (that part always gets me).
Not that time yet, getting closer, but Merry Christmas to my brothers and sisters still overseas anyway.
