If you know nothing about #Benghazi, this is all you need. Right here.
Via Patricia Heaton:
There was no “video protest” as team Obama said repeatedly in multiple places. That was an outright lie, no doubt to protect His Highness B. Hussein Obama and his election chances in November.
Democrats and their willing accomplices in the media pushed a false story then, and are dutifully ignoring the real story now.
The real story – Americans are dead, this administration dropped the ball, and then lied to you, their employer, to save their own jobs.
Now, today at the Congressional hearings, Democrats still want to obfuscate and tell you it’s nothing but politics:
@erickbrockway: Via @SooperMexican GOP is at a hearing investigating Al-Qaeda attacks on #benghazi, Dems are at same hearing investigating attacks on Obama.

Wonder how bad legislation gets passed? Probably not, but in case you do…
This is Colorado, but it could be anywhere (“Pass the bill to see what’s in it“?):
This would be the same Colorado Democrat, Evie Hudak, who *bungled stats and dissed a rape victim.
So yeah, don’t read the pesky words, just flip a coin. Head it passes, tails it doesn’t. And we the people who elected these idiots lose.
*She pulled them from her thinking region, the one she sits on.
UPDATE: Twitchy has more reaction from the Twitter world.
UPDATE II: OMG, it’s only a billion dollars…
While lawmakers debated a bill that would overhaul the way education is funded in Colorado and result in $1 billion in new taxes, state Sen. Evie Hudak (D-Westmister) suggested that they “finish it up real fast in two minutes” without thoroughly discussing a proposed amendment. She also told Sen. Owen Hill (R-Colorado Springs) to “flip a coin” when he asked how he could possibly vote on a major amendment he hadn’t read.
“I’m going to take a quick straw poll,” Hudak said. “How many want to finish it up real fast in two minutes, raise your hand.”
“How can I vote on it if we can’t have a little more discussion on it,” Hill replied.
“Take your best shot,” Hudak shot back.
When the roll was called, Hill again stated that he couldn’t vote on something that the legislature hadn’t read and discussed more thoroughly.
“Here’s a coin you can flip,” Hudak said.
“I didn’t knock on 20,000 doors to flip a coin,” Hill added.
“You’ll pass for now, here’s a coin if you want to flip it,” she said condescendingly.
“Unbelievable,” a stunned Hill muttered.
“The 2012 cycle is Senator Hudak’s last election, as she is term limited and will not have to stand for reelection. She is certainly acting like it,” Revealing Politics notes.
If this can happen to an ACTIVE DUTY Army Sgt. in Texas, it can happen to anyone anywhere
Mil blogger and active-duty Army Master Sgt. CJ Grisham (Michelle Malkin wrote about him here) is having trouble of the Second Amendment type in Temple, Texas:
CJ Grisham
This past weekend while on a 10-mile hike with my 15-year old son to complete requirements for his eagle scout rank, I was illegally detained, stripped of my weapons, and arrested when I refused to voluntarily surrender them. I am a licensed CHL holder in multiple states, an active duty Master Sergeant and veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan. My only charge was “resisting arrest” though I was never placed under arrest until I was charged with resisting it. Confused? Me too. We were hiking down back country roads away from homes and businesses outside Temple, Texas, when the police claim they were responding to a call about a man walking down the road with a gun, something that is legal in the state of Texas. Luckily, my son was able to get the entire ordeal on video, which my attorney doesn’t want released yet. Can you please share this link as far and wide as possible of an appeal for funds to help us fight this injustice and violation of 2nd and 4th amendment rights? Unfortunately, we had to come up with $2500 bail because the resisting arrest is a class a misdemeanor in Texas and we didn’t want to deal with the headaches that come with using a bail bondsman. I would be greatly appreciative. I have a top secret security clearance and if I don’t fight these charges I lose my clearance, my job, and any any chance of an army retirement after serving 19 years. If you have any questions, please let know. Here is the link: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/2nd-amendment-legal-defense-fund
The Facebook link take you to this page for the Second Amendment Legal Defense Fund, where his lawyer can be contacted for information. My emphasis below:
No one should have to fear being illegally disarmed without warrant, especially someone who has never committed a crime in his life. There is an overt attempt to disarm Americans, and especially veterans, in this country.
I live on a military salary and my wife had to use our savings to bail me out of jail so I didn’t have to spend an entire weekend waiting on the magistrate to enjoy his/hers. So, I need help fighting for my rights. I can’t afford the $10,000 retainer to hire a good lawyer familiar with these issues.
My attorney is Mr. Kurt Glass, an attorney at law and fellow US Army veteran. If you’d like to contact him directly, his email is kurtwglass@gmail.com to verify the specifics of my case. His website is www.kurtwglasslaw.com.
Not that California had no way of knowing who they were getting with Dianne Feinstein, gun grabber
Her goal, in her own words, is to disarm all Americans
Not all Californians are idiots, but enough are that they pull the lever on voting day for people who either strip them of their rights, or tax them to death. With a little digging (very little) they could’ve found out the people they were voting for in no way represent their views, but too busy watching reality TV, they can’t be bothered to hear these leftists in their own words.
Criminals can always be counted on to act like criminals. However, such actions should never be used to justify treating law abiding citizens like criminals, which is what leftists like Feinstein and Obama want to do with gun control,
Yeah, thanks bunches.

Seriously, Hollywood needs to STFU when it comes to gun violence
I’ve said this before (via video) and I’m saying it again (with a better video), Hollywood has nothing to say when it comes to gun violence. They’ve perpetuated violence by making young people numb to the carnage, and they’ve made millions doing it.

LAPD gets punked at the LA “Gun Buyback Program” – Media in full hype mode
You see all the major news media using a particular image of a “military rocket launcher” that LAPD Chief Charlie Beck seems to delight in waving around to show just how badly legal gun owners need to turn in their weapons:
Over 2,000 weapons were taken off Los Angeles streets during a gun buyback on Dec. 26–including two military grade rocket grenade launchers.
“Those are weapons of war, weapons of death,” LAPD Chief Charlie Beck told the Los Angeles Times. “These are not hunting guns. These are not target guns. These are made to put high-velocity, extremely deadly, long-range rounds down-range as quickly as possible, and they have no place in our great city.”
Los Angeles police believe the rockets are antiquated, “stripped-down shells” that can no longer be fired. The LAPD is cooperating with the U.S. military to investigate whether the rockets were ever stolen.
What the much used image doesn’t show is how the LAPD and the willing media schmucks are using empty props to demonize all gun owners:
I’m not sure if this is theater for the credulous press or the top brass at the LAPD really are as stupid as stupid as this piece makes them seem. In a bit of anti gun theater the LAPD produced a pair of “rocket launchers” obtained at a recent gun buy back. Upon examining the video what I saw was a pair of empty AT 4 tubes.
The AT 4 is an antitank rocket invented in Sweden and made in Sweden and the US. US forces used it in Panama, Iraq, and Afghanistan. (The US Army calls it “Lightweight Multipurpose Weapon M136.”) You can not reload the AT 4; It’s disposable. Once you have fired the missile that comes with it the remaining tube is an inert non-weapon, not even heavy enough to make a decent club. Even if you managed to get another rocket from somewhere the tube is not strong enough for a second shot.
But the CNN field reporter calmly assures us that since it’s “US made” it must have been smuggled in from somewhere. The “International Security Expert” LAPD has consulting for their gun buyback makes sonorous noises about an “RPG Launcher” and “assault weapons.” As someone hired to undermine the Second Amendment he’s earned his thirty pieces of silver. Candy Crowley and the field reporter wonder about how many other rockets got smuggled in.
An image the media doesn’t show is a close-up of the rocket launcher -
It’s a training device that someone, presumably ex-military, had laying around and wanted to turn in. Maybe so LAPD could also use it as a training device?
Whatever, the dupes at CNN, MSNBC, and others will be showing the “deadly rocket launcher” out of context every chance they get. You when you see it, you can laugh and point the way I do.
